Celebrate National Tequila Day: Events in SoCal

Tequila lovers, Friday, Jul 24, is your day to enjoy National Tequila Day. This should not be confused with National Margarita Day, which takes place annually on Feb 22. It is a great time to switch up your classic margarita for some new and exciting tequila-based cocktails, or experience premium sipping tequilas. 

National Tequila Day

El Cristiano Tequila, an award-winning ultra-premium tequila brand crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave, will be featured throughout Southern California with elevated pours, cocktails, and special activations. Some locations include:

  • Escuela Taqueria — Escuela Taqueria is no longer BYOB! Celebrate National Tequila Day with El Cristiano tequila craft cocktails!

  • Spago Beverly Hills — offering guests the opportunity to experience El Cristiano at one of Beverly Hills’ most iconic dining destinations. Enjoy handcrafted Tequila Cocktails: Expertly mixed margaritas and specialty agave pours.

  • San Bernardino – Yaamava’ Resort & Casino — celebrating National Tequila Day Weekend with a “Más Tequila Por Favor” experience on July 25, featuring El Cristiano.

Ka’teen, Celebrate with $14 Fire Palomas all night on July 24, featuring Cazadores Blanco, Grapefruit, Dulce De Pasilla, and soda water. Make sure you experience Executive Chef Wes Avila’s modern take on Yucatan cuisine. Reservations available here.

Esparanza – Since Esparanza opens early at 11 a.m, you can get a head start on National Tequila Day with their Tequila Ocho Skinny Margaritas for $14 and Ocho Cadillac Margaritas for $18. Specials continue until 6 p.m.

Orange County

Flecha – Fletcha is Mark Wahlberg’s foray into Mexican cuisine. Reservations available here. Experience Flecha tequila with a Blancho or Reposado Shot, Flecha Azul Tequila Flight, or a Flecha Margarita.
